To modify a problem report without advancing its status:

1. Select the problem report you want to modify from the Problem List.
   
2. From Edit menu, select Modify.
3. The problem report data form will be displayed.
   
4. During this edit operation you can modify any of the fields except the problem report number. This includes the status. However, the status can only be modified to a regressed state. You have to use the other Edit operations to advance the status.
