Exporting Data

PR-Tracker can export problem reports (or a subset of problem reports) to HTML format or text files. This feature is useful for companies that want to provide technical support over the internet. PR-Tracker also uses Microsoft Access 2000 formatted files to store problem data. Consequently, data can be read by Access 2000 or greater and can be exported to any format supported by Access.

To export data in HTML format do these steps:
  1. Create or Select a Query containing the list of problems or a selected problem that you want to export to HTML format.
  2. From the Tools menu select HTML Report Generator.
  3. The HTML Report Generator dialog box will appear. Perform next steps in Generate HTML Files.
